Heat applications:

Relaxing and soothing. Most suitable combined with classical massage. The heat contributes to an improved blood circulation, increased detoxification and nutrient supply in the skin and underlying structures (e.g. muscles).

A) Hot air: Heat application by radiant heat, mostly red light. Provides an alternative to natural mud packs, if these are too intense and demanding for patients (e.g. heart).

B) Natural mud pack: Heat which will be administered to you via direct skin contact (moist heat), provides a delightful relaxation and therefore is much more intense.

C) Hot roll: A tightly wrapped towel roll is well moisturized with hot water and rolled on the patient's skin with a little pressure. A very intense moist heat application.
